Description of restoration process, the day bed was in considerable disrepair, at some point a previous upholsterer had removed rails, tacked into the rails, added pine blocks, removed the original cane seat, so all these areas had to be reinstated, I contacted experts in the field including Amin Jaeffer, the head of the Sri Lankas museum, they all agreed with my repair schedule, the item finally sold at Chrisites to a New York dealer.
