This fantastic Regency or William IV circa 1830 mahogany twist turned column with dished top on cabriole legs. Stamped to the underside "Flood 8 Charles St. Middlesex Hospital" This is a heavy table, really well made by a known Regency cabinet maker.

Listed at no. 8 Charles Street, 1824-1839. Recorded in the Signature Book of Herries, Farquhar & Co., private bankers of 16 St James's St, London, in 1824. The London Post Office Directory 1845 recorded Flood as upholsterer at no. 11 Charles Street.[Lloyds Bank archives, book 2055].
